The staff of Adelante Forward magazine was recently surprised and honored to accept a Community Leadership Award from Michigan State University’s Chavez Celebration committee, led by Ignacio Andrade. The Award was presented at a luncheon honoring César Chávez on Friday, March 27, 2015 at the Kellogg Center, on the campus of Michigan State University. MSU and other community organizations in the Lansing area sponsor a wide variety of Chavez events in the Lansing area during March of every year.
